Union County Board of Supervisors will receive a recommendation by the 2013 compensation board Monday regarding wage increases for elected courthouse officials.

The compensation board plans to propose a 4.5 percent wage increase for County Attorney Tim Kenyon and Union County Sheriff Rick Piel, and 3.5 percent wage increase for Auditor Sandy Hysell, Recorder Paula White, Treasurer Kelly Busch and Union County Board of Supervisors.

That compensation board, chaired by Katie Turner, has seven members total including Vice Chairman Tom Hartsock, Jim Norman, Jack Keuter, Dorothy McNaught, John Tapken and Linda Marley.

The recommendations by the compensation board were finalized in a Dec. 27 meeting, and will be presented by Hartsock and Turner to the supervisors shortly after 9 a.m. Monday.
