Jesse Bolinger featured in state volunteerism campaign

LAMONI — Jesse Bolinger of Creston was recently selected as one of the 50 Faces of Volunteering, a social media campaign being sponsored by the Iowa Commission on Volunteer Service. The campaign is designed to draw attention to great volunteers in the state, as well as encourage people to give back to their communities by volunteering at least 50 hours per year.

Bolinger splits his time volunteering between Graceland University and TechiePaws Inc., where he estimates he volunteers five to 10 hours per week at each organization.

He has contributed three years of service to TechiePaws because he believes in the mission. This organization provides emergency funding to service animal users to help pay for veterinary bills and people with disabilities to purchase assistive and adaptive technologies. His service has aided individuals in three states to access adaptive technology they may not otherwise have received.
