Opportunities available in career/tech field
GREENFIELD — On Jan. 13, Bill Huntington, career/technical recruiter for Southwestern Community College, will give a 30- to 45-minute presentation on opportunities available in the ag business, crop and livestock production, automotive and collision repair and nursing fields.
The program will begin at 3 p.m. at Adair County Extension, 154 Public Square, Greenfield.
Classes students should be taking in high school, classes students should expect to take in college, dual enrollment program opportunities and cost comparisons with other colleges will be covered, in addition to the opportunities available in the career/tech field.
All Adair County 4-H’ers and their parents are invited to attend.
A question and answer period will be held after the presentation.
Light refreshments will be served.
