DES MOINES — James and Hannah Shady of Creston are parents of a son born Dec. 27, 2012. Jude Ernest Shady weighed 10 pounds, 10 ounces and was 21 1/2 inches long.

Grandparents are Greg and Deb Sisler of Orient.

Great-grandparents are Gayle and Thelma Sisler of Creston, Grace Weese of Orient and Jean Grove of Fort Dodge.

Brothers are Logan James, 11, and Xavier Allen Shady, 3.
