MOUNT AYR — Mount Ayr Community High School will host the 25th edition of their Dual Wrestling Tournament Friday and Saturday.

Nine teams will compete for the championship of this round-robin event, with simultaneous action taking place on four mats. Rounds 1-4 get under way at 4:30 Friday afternoon, and the wrestling resumes at 10 a.m. Saturday with rounds 5-9.

A series of special events are planned for the silver anniversary tournament, culminating with a ceremony to dedicate the tournament in memory of coach Ron Scott. Coach Scott died suddenly last spring, and the Mount Ayr Athletic Department and Raider wrestling team will honor his memory with the Ron Scott Memorial Dual Tournament.
