Bree Meredith Whipps, 34, of Carlisle was charged noon Friday with driving while barred.

According to a Creston Police report, officers responded to a report of suspicious activity at the Super 8 Hotel in Creston. Upon arrival, officers spoke with hotel employees who pointed out a female exiting a car she was driving and identified her as Whipps. Officers spoke with Whipps about her activity. A check of Whipps' driver's license showed she was barred from driving and she was transported to the Union County Law Enforcement Center.

Whipps is being held on $2,000 bond.
