No citations were issued after an accident 5:52 a.m. Friday at Kessler's curve on Highway 25 north of Creston.

According to a Union County Sheriff report, Kathryn Case, 58,of Orient lost control of her 2002 Ford while driving east through Kessler's curve because of frost on the roadway. Case's vehicle went into the north ditch and a fence and fence posts owned by Leonard Bess.

Damage estimates are $1,000 to Case's vehicle and $450 to Bess' fence and fence posts.

No citations were issued after an accident 6 a.m. Friday at Kessler's curve on Highway 25 north of Creston.

According to a Union County Sheriff report, Phillys Dillenburg, 64, 3305 Marion Ave., lost control of her 2001 Chevrolet while driving through Kessler's curve because of frost on the roadway. Dillenburg's vehicle went through a fence and fence posts owned by Leonard Bess and stopped in the pasture.

Damage estimate is $500 to Dillenburg's vehicle and $450 to Bess' fence and fence post.

No citations were issued after an accident 6:48 a.m. Friday on Highway 25.

According to a Union County Sheriff report, Jon Hammons, 43, of Atlantic, lost control of his 1999 Chevrolet while driving south on Highway 25 because of frost on the roadway. Hammons' vehicle went into the east ditch, rolled over and landed on its wheels. Hammons was transported by ambulance to Greater regional Medical Center where his condition is not available.

Damage estimate is $5,000 to Hammons' vehicle.
