Accident
No citations were issued after an accident 5:52 a.m. Friday at Kessler's curve on Highway 25 north of Creston.
According to a Union County Sheriff report, Kathryn Case, 58,of Orient lost control of her 2002 Ford while driving east through Kessler's curve because of frost on the roadway. Case's vehicle went into the north ditch and a fence and fence posts owned by Leonard Bess.
Damage estimates are $1,000 to Case's vehicle and $450 to Bess' fence and fence posts.
