The program titled “Preparing Our Priorities” was led by Beth Perry. Members helped with reading parts and a special version of bingo was played.

The evening circle met at 7 p.m. with 12 members present. Chairperson Rosalie Denton presided. The Feb. 17 public dinner plans were discussed. The circle will be in charge of the program for guest night April 4.

Jerrie Henderson led the program “Preparing Our Priorities.”

The young women’s circle met for a light supper and program under the guidance of Kay Ritter. Six were present. The subject of “Immigration” was discussed. The newly-formed circle will meet again in April.

Greater Regional Medical Center Auxiliary

Greater Regional Medicai Center Auxiliary met Monday at the MAP Conference Room with 10 members and Annette Rice present. Cindy Cochran conducted the meeting.

There was no administrator’s report.

Four volunteers were trained for information guides January 2013..

More guides and gift shop volunteers are always needed. If interested, call volunteer services at 782-3553.

Rice gave a IHA Auxiliary and volunteer news update.

Brian Schon, director of clinic services, gave a report to the board.

Joanne Chubick gave a gift shop report. The gift shop buyers will attend market in February.

Scholarship forms have been forwarded to the area schools.

A bloodmobile will be held Feb. 25 at Trinity Lutheran Hall.

A review was completed of the 2013 calendar.

Legislative Day will be Feb. 27. Some members will attend.

The membership drive is held each year in January, February and March. Yearly dues are $5 for each auxiliary and hospice or $10 for both. All dues may be sent to Volunteer Services, 1700 W. Towntine St., Ste. 3, Creston, IA 50801.

A book sale will be held Feb. 19 and 20.

The jewelry sales for the year are April 9, Sept. 10 and Dec. 17, 2013.

The next meeting will be Feb. 11.

Rebecca Circle

Rebecca Circle met 7 p.m. Jan. 17 at the First Christian Church with four members present.

Twila Brant opened the meeting with the DWF prayer.

Secretary’s report was read and approved.

Treasurer’s report was given. Twenty-five dollars has been given to the Christmas basket. There is $62.50 in the treasurery.
