Mark A. Brown, 51, of Creston died Jan. 18, 2013, at Greater Regional Hospice Home.
An open visitation will be held instead of a service.

Mark Alan Brown, son of Betty Jane (Reed) and Delbert Hugh Brown Sr., was born June 19, 1961, in Corning.
He was educated at Cumberland and Massena schools.
Mark has lived in Creston for more than 20 years.
Mark worked as a roofer for Creston Roofing and Siding for 11 years.
Mark is survived by his significant other Lorriane “Gizmo” Peters of Creston; mother Betty Brown of Cumberland; daughter Tia (husband Mitchell) Gilliland of Mount Ayr; brothers, Paul (wife Brenda) Brown of Atlantic, Delbert (wife Andrea) Brown and Donny Brown (Brenda Bowman), all of Creston; sisters, Paula (husband Rusty) Fried of Mapleton and Naomi (husband Kreig) Namanny of Anita; and two grandchildren.
Mark was preceded in death by his father; sister Mary Helen and brother Roger Brown.
