Article:	Murray School should consider penny sales tax From Jim Stalker • Creston \| It was nice to read about the Murray School District's renovation project. I didn't see it mentioned in the article, but I wonder if they've considered the penny sales tax they are entitled to? Even if they do not have significant businesses in Murray to collect that extra penny, I understood that sales tax revenues were totaled on a countywide basis and then distributed per capita according to school district needs.
