Depth helps Bedford top freshman boys

BEDFORD — Bedford freshmen pulled away from Creston in the second half to defeat the Panther boys Monday night, 42-25.

“We were very competitive through the first half (17-11),” coach Larry Beaman said, “but they had 17 bodies and it was too much for our seven boys to overcome.”

Brandon Jones led the team with 11 points, followed by Brandon Lee with six, Sam Eagan four and Ryan Kucera with one. Next game is Feb. 1 against Red Oak.
