Teresa Vivian Vaca, 53, 301 S. Chestnut St., was charged 8:55 a.m. Thursday at the Union County Law Enforcement Center with conspiracy to deliver methamphetamine.

According to a Creston Police report, at 9 a.m. on March 2, Vaca conspired to illegally distribute methamphetamine to a cooperating individual at her residence. The transaction was monitored, recorded and documented by officers with Tri-County Narcotics and Creston Police Department.

Vaca is being held in the Ringgold County Jail on $50,000 bond.

Cody John Courtney, 23, of Thayer, was charged 12:50 p.m. Thursday at the Union County Law Enforcement Center with conspiracy to deliver marijuana.

According to a Creston Police report, at 11:45 a.m. on June 6, Courtney conspired with another individual to illegally distribute marijuana to a cooperating individual in Creston. The transaction was monitored, recorded and documented by officers with Tri-County Narcotics and Creston Police Department.

Courtney was released on $5,000 bond.
