Alice L. John, 99, of Corning died Jan. 22, 2013, at Parkdale Manor in Maryville, Mo.

Celebration of life services were 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 24, at the United Presbyterian Church in Corning. Interment was in Oak Hill Cemetery. Ritchie Funeral Home, 905 Benton Ave., Corning, was in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be given to Corning Presbyterian Church, Corning Public Library or Roseanne Hospital Auxiliary. Alice Lucile John, daughter of Frantz Mozelle (Davis) and Frank Valentine, was born Sept. 10, 1913, in rural Adams County.
