Lucinda “Cindy” Kohler, 60, of Greenfield died Jan. 25, 2013, at her home in Greenfield.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 29, at the United Methodist Church in Greenfield. The Rev. Charles Layton will officiate. Interment will be in Greenfield Cemetery. Visitation will be noon to 8 p.m. today with family present 5 to 8 p.m. at the church. Steen Funeral Home, 101 S.E. Fourth St., Greenfield, is in charge of

Lucinda “Cindy” French Kohler, daughter of Ruth Jeanne (Meier) and Jack S. French, was born March 24, 1952, in Columbus, Ga.
Cindy grew up in various locations as a military family.
Cindy graduated from High School in Pittsburg, Kan., and later graduated from the University of Nebraska.
On June 29, 1974, Cindy married Richard Kohler in Lincoln, Neb.
They made their home in Greenfield, after Dick finished dentistry school in 1978.
Cindy worked for National Travelers Life-EMC National Life Insurance Company in Des Moines as an executive administration assistant.
Cindy was a member of Greenfield United Methodist Church, P.E.O. and Chi Omega.
Cindy is survived by her husband Dr. Richard Kohler of Greenfield; daughter Carrie (husband Brendan) Feeney of Denver, Colo.; son Ben (wife Kristina) Kohler of Hastings, Neb.; grandchildren, Kobe Kohler and Cameron Feeney; brothers, Jack (wife Jill) French and Charles (wife Becky) French, all of Omaha, Neb.; aunt Pat Parsons of Modesto, Calif.; other relatives and friends.
Cindy was preceded in death by her parents and aunt Margaret Sandly.
