Moving bus barn is waste of time, resources
From Jamie Ray
In light of the recent article in the CNA, I am disappointed in the members of our school board. Their actions DO NOT reflect that of an organization that is truly concerned with the well being of the community in which it represents.
You folks have a current bus barn site that just needs to be rebuilt, and yet you waste time and resources exploring new avenues of approaching this situation. Give me a break. Why don’t you folks do the right thing and start looking out for our community and its best interest?
Moving the bus barn to the former AEA site does nothing for the betterment of our community or for looking out for the best interest of our community. I keep hearing mention of safety, horse hockey, for all outward appearances it just looks like a way to throw some weight around to prove you are somebody. Be somebody and look out for our community and it’s best interest.
The taxpayers in this community currently pay 44.52 percent taxes to support our school, and instead of trying to reduce this figure, you folks seem intent on raising the amount in which we pay. As a taxpayer this makes me very unhappy.
