Creston's Zach Powers prepares to receive a pass from a teammate during Friday's 61-44 Panther victory at Denison-Schleswig. “We kind of tightened up a little bit and got some rotations come across,” Hiatt said. “I think we got one or two charges called our way. We started playing more Creston defense. We did a good job defensively on the Hall kid.”

Hall made six free throws, but made only two field goal attempts.

The Panthers have four days off before returning to action Friday against Red Oak in the “Color Blast” game. Friday will also be senior night for the boys team.

Creston then hosts Lewis Central on Saturday.
