Betty Mason, 89, of Mesa, Ariz., died Jan. 20, 2013, at Mesa Good Shepherd Care Facility in Mesa, Ariz.

A celebration of life service was held 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, at Heimarck Memorial Chapel at Mesa Good Shepherd. Private interment was in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Mesa, Ariz. Melcher Mortuary Chapel of the Roses, Mesa, Ariz., was in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be given to American Diabetes Association.

Betty Mason, daughter of Nola (Harris) and John Calvin Dowdell, was born April 14, 1923, in Creston.
