Rosalie Eileen Jackson, 62, of Afton was charged 3:56 p.m. Monday at the intersection of Sumner Avenue and Highway 34 on a Union County warrant for third-degree theft.
According to a Creston Police report, Jackson wrote a check to Fareway on Jan. 21, 2011 in the amount of $46 drawn on an account at First Federal Savings Bank, which was returned marked insufficient funds. A 10-day notice was issued on Mar. 21, 2011 and restitution was not made.
Jackson was released on $2,000 bond.
