RED OAK — Creston eighth-grade girls led 11-4 at halftime, but went scoreless in the third period as Red Oak seized control in a 20-17 victory Monday.
Cammy Rutherford had six points and eight steals in Creston's final game of the season. Hannah Hood contributed four points, five rebounds and five steals. Kristy Powers also scored four points, and Leah Schuler collected two steals.
Schuler hit the winning basket in Creston's 8-6 win in the B game, after Logan Pettit scored the first six points. Aleisa Larkin had two steals.

RED OAK — Red Oak's undefeated seventh-grade girls team held off Creston's rally to prevail, 23-16.
Chloe Hagle and Cayla Maitlen each scored eight points for Creston.
Kateri Foster scored for Creston in a 6-2 B game loss.
