Jesse James Miller, 31, of Macksburg was charged 5:58 p.m. Monday in Creston on a Union County warrant for violation of pretrial release on the original charge of solicitation to commit felony.

Miller is being held on $5,000 bond in the Union County Jail.

Victor Manuel Cruz, 33, of Des Moines was charged 8:38 p.m. Monday in Creston on a Union County warrant for failure to appear for sentencing on the original charge of second-degree operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated.

Cruz is being held on $2,000 bond in the Union County Jail.
