Accident
No citations were issued after an accident 2:45 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of Cherry and Taylor streets.
According to a Creston Police report, Dick Edwin Vangelder, 88, of Lenox, driving a 2009 Dodge east on Taylor Street, attempted to merge into the other lane. As he attempted to change lanes, Vangelder collided into the rear driver's side door of a 1997 GMC driven by Everett Leroy Proctor, 41, of Grand River.
Damage estimates are $2,000 to Vangelder's vehicle and $1,000 to Proctor's vehicle.
