Panther bowlers prepare for final regular season meet

The Creston/Orient-Macksburg girls bowling team defeated both Lewis Central and Norwalk here on Saturday, while the boys team topped Norwalk, but couldn’t quite edge out Lewis Central.

The girls put up a team score of 2290, beating out Norwalk’s 1956 and Lewis Central’s 1697.

“The girls bowled well enough to win, but I felt we were just not at our best today,” head coach Ron Pendegraft said. “We were distracted by equipment issues, but those are things that happen and have to be dealt with.”
