Rated Northeast swamps Spartan women

Northeast Nebraska showed why it’s ranked 23rd in Division I junior college women’s basketball with an 81-47 victory over Southwestern Saturday afternoon.

The Hawks, ranked 13th, improved to 23-2 for the season as the Division II Spartans fell to 0-23.

Jamee Miner contributed in several phases for the Spartans, finishing with a team-high 14 points, two steals and five assists. Taylor Zimmerman added 11 points.
