Trudy Jacobsen — Maryville, Mo.

Trudy Jacobsen, 44, of Maryville, Mo., died Feb. 8, 2013, at Heartland Hospital in St. Joseph, Mo., after a short illness.

Trudy’s body has been cremated and her memorial service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12, at the First United Methodist Church in Maryville, Mo. Inurnment of the cremains will be at a later date in Creston. Visitation with family present will be 6 to 8 p.m. today at Bram-Danfelt Funeral Home in Maryville, Mo. Memorials may be directed to the Monte Jacobsen family to help with final expenses and may be left at the funeral home. Online condolences may be left at www.bramfuneralhome.com.

Trudy Jane Jacobsen, daughter of Judy (Page) and Gene Clark, was born Oct. 30, 1968, in Corning.

Trudy graduated from Creston High School in 1987, and then went to Maryville, Mo., to attend college. She received her Bachelor of Science in business management from Northwest Missouri State University and had also worked on her master’s degree at Northwest.

Trudy was a resident of Maryville, Mo., for more than 20 years.

Trudy worked as a Supervisor for Aramark Food Services on the Northwest campus for the past 16 years.

Trudy attended the First United Methodist Church and was a member of Today’s Civic Women, both of Maryville, Mo.

Trudy married Monte D. Jacobsen in Maryville, Mo.

Trudy is survived by her husband Monte Jacobsen of Maryville, Mo.; son Danner Jacobsen of Maryville, Mo.; parents, Gene and Judy Clark of Creston; sisters, Sally (Gordon) Hinton and Peggy Clark, all of Corning; maternal grandmother Betty Page of Creston; nieces, Ann (Cody) Luther and son Chase of Creston, Megan (Jesse) Dennis and son Jayden of Prescott and Jen (Donald) Shires and son Wyatt of Corning; and sister-in-law Peggy Davis of Avoca.
