Tommi Ann Vanscoy, 16, 210 S. Birch St., was cited for failure to obey a yield sign after an accident 12:43 p.m. Friday on East Clark and South Walnut streets .

According to a Creston Police report, James Arthur Franke, 18, of Afton, driving a 1996 Cadillac north on Walnut Street, stopped at a yield sign and proceeded through the intersection. Vanscoy, driving a 1195 Chevrolet east on Clark Street, did not see Franke causing their vehicles to collide.

Damage estimates are $2,000 to Vanscoy's vehicle and $4,000 to Franke's vehicle.
