Tommi Ann Vanscoy, 16, 210 S. Birch St., was cited for failure to obey a yield sign after an accident 12:43 p.m. Friday on East Clark and South Walnut streets .

According to a Creston Police report, James Arthur Franke, 18, of Afton, driving a 1996 Cadillac north on Walnut Street, stopped at a yield sign and proceeded through the intersection. Vanscoy, driving a 1195 Chevrolet east on Clark Street, did not see Franke causing their vehicles to collide.

Damage estimates are $2,000 to Vanscoy's vehicle and $4,000 to Franke's vehicle.

Dana James Harris Brown, 50, of Lenox was cited for failure to maintain control and operating without registration after an accident 7:45 a.m. Sunday on Beechwood Avenue.

According to a Creston Police report, Brown, driving a 1998 Ford south on Beechwood, stated he lost control. Brown's vehicle went across the road, entered the east ditch, rolled and came to rest facing west on the shoulder of the road.

Damage estimate is $5,000 to Brown's vehicle.

Brandon Joseph Robertson, 16, 1107 N. Maple St., was cited for striking an unattended vehicle and obstructed vision after an accident 7:18 p.m. today on Harsh Street .

According to a Creston Police report, Robertson, driving a 1988 Chevrolet west on Harsh Street, struck the back of a parked 2003 Windstar owned by Margaret Ruth McKee, 204 S. Birch St. Robertson stated he did not see McKee's vehicle because the inside of his windshield was frosted over.

Damage estimates are $1,500 to Robertson's vehicle and $3,500 to McKee's vehicle.
