Adair-Casey 58, Lenox 46

ADAIR — Lenox ended the regular season with a 58-46 loss at Adair-Casey Friday night. The Bombers enter postseason play at 16-5, while the Tigers are 12-10 before hosting Martensdale-St. Marys in district play Thursday.

Lenox led 18-13 on Friday before halftime ended in a 30-30 deadlock. A-C took control with a 20-8 third quarter.

“Again, we started well, having a 10-point lead in the first quarter,” Lenox co-coach Karl Peterson said. “But we did not play well the second and third quarters and could not execute and score in the fourth.”

Caleb Lange led three Tigers in double figures with 17 points and eight rebounds. Mason Peterson added 13 points and three assists, while Spencer Brown contributed 10 points and eight rebounds. Frank Martinez had a team-high three steals.
