Driving down Adams Street to the west, I see a "for sale" sign in front of one of Creston's unique and historic churches. What a tragedy that a church has to close its doors. Because the membership had dwindled down to what you could count on one hand, the decision was made to close St. Paul Episcopal Church.

That said, what happens now? I'd like to see it turned into an "all occasion" church.
What is an "all occasion" church, you may ask? You may not have heard the term before, because I just made it up. Basically, it's a church that is all denominations. In some cities, churches are booked way ahead, if you want to be married in a specific church. This church could cover that. There's an empty lot to the west that could be utilized for additional parking. All-denominational, or none at all, that's what this community needs. Funerals? The perfect use for this church.
