Creston/O-M wins Southwest Iowa Middle School Duals

Creston/O-M middle school wrestlers defended their Southwest Iowa Middle School Duals title on Feb. 10.

Creston/O-M beat Bedford/Lenox 54-5; rolled past Interstate 35 54-18; outscored Red Oak 47-18; defeated Atlantic 45-24; and got past Glenwood 43-27.

Glenwood was second with a 4-1 record for the day. Atlantic finished 3-2. Red Oak, Bedford/Lenox and I-35 all finished 1-4.

Three Creston/O-M team members were undefeated for the day at 5-0 — Matthew Rouh (75 pounds), Jackson MIkkelsen (135) and Kadon Hulett (175). Trevor Downing and Blake Sevier combined for a 5-0 record at 260 pounds. Cade Vicker (85) was 4-1.

Brody Frain and Mason Kinsella combined for 4-1 at 115 pounds, as well as Demitrius Campbell and Isaiah Foster 4-1 at 125. Finishing 3-2 were Colton Bolinger (145), Kolby Tomas (160) and Cody Tanner (200). Other team members were Trevor MarlinandBrad Boyer.
