Afton house fire, site of defunct meth lab, investigated as arson

Muliple calls were recieved 10 p.m. Wednesday reporting a fire at the residence of Adam Roan, 29, and Lacey Dalton, 27, 411 W. Kansas St., Afton.

According to Afton Police Chief John Coulter, the fire is being investigated as arson.

Both Roan and Dalton, who were charged on Union County warrants with conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine and possession of precursors, were in custody at the time of the blaze.
