Four area players Academic All-State
Creston senior Colby Taylor is among four area players named to the Iowa Basketball Coaches Association Academic All-State team for 2013.
Also receiving the honor are Alex Welsch and Dan Ehrsam of Nodaway Valley, and Murray senior Austin Halls.
They are slated to receive the certificate of recognition of the award at halftime of the Class 3A championship game on Saturday night, March 19. That is the first game of the evening at 6:05 p.m., followed by the Class 4A championship at 8:05 p.m.
