Adam Roan, 29, of Afton was charged 10:55 a.m. Thursday at the Union County Law Enforcement Center on two Union County warrants for child endangerment.

According to a Crestion Police report, a search warrant was executed Feb. 15 at Roan's residence, 411 W. Kansas St., Afton, during a narcotics investigation. Evidence indicated the recent manufacture of more than 5 grams of methamphetamine. Roan is the parent of two minor children, ages 4 and 11, and he knowingly permitted the children to be present where methamphetamine was being manufactured, which created substantial risk to their physical, mental, and emotional health or safety.

Roan is being held on $100,000 bond.
