Adam Roan, 29, of Afton was charged 10:55 a.m. Thursday at the Union County Law Enforcement Center on two Union County warrants for child endangerment.

According to a Crestion Police report, a search warrant was executed Feb. 15 at Roan's residence, 411 W. Kansas St., Afton, during a narcotics investigation. Evidence indicated the recent manufacture of more than 5 grams of methamphetamine. Roan is the parent of two minor children, ages 4 and 11, and he knowingly permitted the children to be present where methamphetamine was being manufactured, which created substantial risk to their physical, mental, and emotional health or safety.

Roan is being held on $100,000 bond.

Lacey Dalton, 27, of Afton was charged noon Thursday at the Union County Law Enforcement Center on Union County warrants for conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine and possession of precursors with intent to manufacture methamphetamine.

According to a Creston Police report, through a narcotics investigation and vehicle stop Feb. 15, officers identified Dalton to be involved with others in the process of, and in possession of pseudophedrine and other ingredients to manufacture methamphetamine. Pseudophedrine records indicate Dalton cooperated with others to obtain precursors to manufacture methamphetamine between May 22, 2012, and Feb. 15. Statements obtained during interviews and evidence seized at Dalton's residence, 411 W. Kansas St., Afton, are consistent with, and corroborate information from, other sources. Evidence is indicative of the recent manufacture of more than 5 grams of methamphetamine.

Dalton is being held on $100,000 bond.

Sebastian Sweat, 13, 407 S. Pine St., was detained 11 a.m. Thursday at Creston Middle School for public intoxication.

Sweat was referred to juvenile authorities.
