Kimberly Lynn Overholser,44, of Benton was cited for registration violation after an accident 3:48 p.m. Thursday at Taylor and Sumner streets.

According to a Creston Police report, Wade Alan Keeler, 18, 504 S. Walnut St., driving a 2003 Chevrolet west on Taylor Street, attempted to stop for a red light at the intersection. Because of snow and ice on the road, he was unable to stop and struck the back of a 2000 Ford, driven by Overholser.

Damage estimates are $2,000 to Keeler's vehicle and $1,000 to Overholser's vehicle.
