Comments (...)Erika Lee Stoltzman, 39, of Mounds View, Minn., was cited for failure to yield upon entering a through highway after an accident 4:50 p.m. Saturday on Sheldon Avenue.
According to a Creston Police report, Christopher Lee Willis, 18, 627 New York Ave., driving a 2000 Cadillac west on Sheldon street struck the rear driver's side of a 1996 Toyota driven by Stoltzman as she exited the Hy-Vee parking lot onto Sheldon Avenue. Stoltzman stated Willis was driving faster than the posted speed limit, but Creston Police were unable to prove or disprove her allegations.
Damage estimates are $1,500 to Stoltzman's vehicle and $2,000 to Willis' vehicle.

No citations were issued after an accident 6:58 a.m. Tuesday at East Mills and North Cedar streets.
According to a Creston Police report, Deanna Eileen Gebbie, 32, of Greenfield, driving a 2002 Buick east on Mills Street, slid through a stop sign because of ice and snow on the road and struck a 1998 Chevrolet, driven north on Cedar Street by Duane Melvin Osmun, 64, 505 E. Prairie St.
Damage estimates are $3,000 to Osmun's vehicle and $2,000 to Gebbie's vehicle.

According to a Creston Police Report, Keith Andre Whitfield, 58, 603 W. Adams St., driving a 2001 Chevrolet north on Sycamore Street had stopped for other, uninvolved vehicles. Janie Marie Warner, 45, 501 S. Pine Street, driving a 2006 Chevrolet north on Sycamore Street struck Whitfield's vehicle in the rear after she was unable to stop because of snow and ice on the road.
Damage estimates are $1,000 to Whitfield's vehicle and $3,500 to Warner's vehicle.

According to a Creston Police report, Edward Joseph Sullivan, 55, 1205 N. Chestnut St., driving a 1996 Chevrolet east on Harsh Street, slid through a stop sign because of ice and snow on the road and struck a 2002 GMC, driven south on Cedar Street by John Allen Carter, 56, 1208 W. Adair St.
Damage estimates are $1,500 to Carter's vehicle and $1,000 to Sullivan's vehicle.

According to a Creston Police report, Mitchell Michael Melvin Pashek, 24, of Orient, driving a 2011 Chrysler south on Elm Street, attempted to stop to allow traffic traveling north on Elm Street to pass when he slid into the front of a 1985 Chevrolet owned by Misty Sue Deboer, 604 N. Elm St. Deboer's vehicle was parked facing the wrong direction.
Damage estimates are $3,000 to Pashek's vehicle and $100 to Deboer's vehicle.
