Bill Hanson, 83, of Creston died March 3, 2013, at Greater Regional Medical Center.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 6, at Powers Funeral Home, junction of highways 25 and 34. The Rev. Richard Queener and the Rev. Charles Spindler will officiate. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Military rites will be conducted by Theodore J. Martens Post No. 1797, Creston V.F.W. Bill Hanson, son of Bertha Christiana (Seeba) and William Oscar Hanson, was born Jan. 31, 1930, in Superior, Neb.
