Accident

No citations were issued after an accident 8:01 a.m. Wednesday on Lincoln Street at Southwestern Community College.

According to a Union County Sheriff report, Robert Michael Quinn, 25, 902 W. Mills St., driving a 2008 Chevrolet north on Lincoln Street was unable to stop his vehicle because of ice on the road and struck a 2007 Dodge driven by Jessica Anne Dunn, 29, 700 S. Birch St.

Damage estimates are $3,000 to Quinn’s vehicle and $2,000 to Dunn’s vehicle.
