Donald L. Parrott, 75, of Afton died March 9, 2013, at Bright Kavanagh House in Des Moines.

Services will be 11 a.m. Friday, March 15, at Powers Funeral Home, 612 N. Dodge St., Afton. The Rev. Jim Morris will officiate. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery in Afton. Visitation with family present will be 10 a.m. to service time Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to C.A.R.E. in Afton or Bright Kavanagh House in Des Moines.
