Coach of year
Nodaway Valley head boys basketball coach Darrell Burmeister was named the Class 2A Substate 7 Coach of the Year by the Iowa Basketball Coaches Association.
Burmeister led the Wolverines to their second straight 16-0 season in the Pride of Iowa Conference, while finishing 23-2 overall for the season.
