Council should have listened to voters
From Frank Gale
Just noticed in Monday’s edition that on 3/19/13 (Tuesday), the council is to discuss the future of the Adam’s Street house.
What a shame that the council didn’t listen to the voters and make the decision to keep the house and either sell it to a new owner or allow the Parks and Recreation Board use it. Having been on the council, I realize it is hard at times to make a decision against the wishes of the voter, but at times the council needs to listen to the people, and this is one time that they should have listened.
