Geraldine McDaniel, 87, of Redding died March 17, 2013, at Comfort House Hospice Home in McAllen, Texas.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 23, at Watson-Armstrong Funeral Home, 205 W. Monroe St., Mount Ayr. The Rev. Bill Armstrong will officiate. Burial will be in Redding Cemetery. Open visitation will be held noon to 8 p.m. Friday with family present 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. A memorial fund has been established in her name to be decided later.
