Brandon Ashley Howe, 31, 511 N. Elm Street Apt. 2, was charged on a Union County warrant for third-degree burglary and two counts of attempted third-degree burglary.

According to a Creston Police report, on Sunday Howe broke a window and pried a locked door open on a grader shack at Gavilon Grain, where he took a computer, digital scale and other items. The property was located in Howe’s vehicle that was stuck on the railroad tracks within the property of Gavilon Grain. Howe also attempted to pry open a door on the elevator operations control room and on a lean-to shed on the west end of the elvator operations control room.

Damage estimates were not available.
