Accident

Brandon Douglas Wright, 20, 229 Myrtle St., was cited for failure to yield for a stop sign after an accident 8:23 p.m. Friday at Sumner and Laurel streets.

According to a Creston Police report, Wright, driving a 2004 Ford east on Laurel Street, turned north onto Sumner Street into the path of a 2008 Chrysler, driven south on Sumner Street by Brian Lee Rhodes, 32, 508 N. Vine St., which caused Rhodes to strike the left rear of Wright’s vehicle.

Damage estimates are $2,000 to Rhodes vehicle and $2,000 to Wright’s vehicle.
