Lenox Police

Jeff Brown, 49, of Lenox was charged 6 p.m. Monday at his residence on a warrant for domestic assault.

According to a Lenox Police report, Brown’s charges stem from an incident on April 26.

Brown is being held in Ringgold County Jail waiting for an appearance before the magistrate.

Jeffery Luft, 33, of Sharpsburg was charged 9:06 p.m. Monday with operating while intoxicated, second offence.

According to a Lenox Police report, police stopped a vehicle on Van Buren Street for an equipment violation. An officer determined Luft had been drinking and performed sobriety tests. A test of Luft’s breath indicated a blood-alcohol content of .195.

Luft is being held in Ringgold County Jail awaiting an appearance before the magistrate.
