David Driskell, 67, 1501 N. Elm St., was charged 9:05 p.m. Wednesday at the corner of Sumner and Adams streets with operating while intoxicated.

According to a Creston Police report, officers conducted a traffic stop on Driskell for a traffic violation. An officer observed Driskell to have bloodshot watery eyes and had an odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from him. Officers also received a call from a citizen, who stated they saw Driskell leave a bar and get into his vehicle. An officer requested Driskell consent to a field sobriety test. Driskell consented to the field sobriety test, which he was able to complete two of three tests. He was asked and provided a preliminary breath test, which indicated a blood-alcohol content more than .08. Driskell provided a valid breath on DataMaster, which indicated a blood-alcohol content of .180.

Driskell was released on $1,000 bond.

Dixie Giles, 46, 404 N. Vine St., was charged 11:14 p.m. Wednesday at the Law Enforcement Center on a Ringgold County warrant for fifth-degree theft.

Giles was being held on $600 bond.

Richard Glenn Woosley, 57, 405 N. Cherry St., was charged 10:20 a.m. Tuesday at his residence with possession of marijuana.

According to a Creston Police report, on Monday, officers were speaking with Woosley in regard to a nuisance at his residence, when an officer noticed his Social Security card was falling out of his back pocket and told him so. When Woosley pulled the Social Security card out of his pocket, a small bag of marijuana fell out of his pocket and onto the ground. Woosley stated he forgot the marijuana was in his pocket.

Woosley was released on $2,000 bond.

Dustin Allison, 1307 E. Howard St., reported motor vehicle parts were taken from his front porch between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. Wednesday.

Estimated loss is $351.
