Twana Maurine Songer, 40, of Lorimor was charged 5:30 p.m. Thursday on a Union County Warrant for alcohol sales after hours.

According to a Union County Sheriff report, Songer allowed the consumption of alcoholic beverages at Blue Grass Road Bar after closing.

Songer was released on $1,000 bond.

Charles Kegan Lohoff, 19, 1101 N. Oak St., was charged 8:54 p.m. Thursday on 160th St. at 12 Mile Lake with possession of marijuana.

According to a Union County Sheriff’s report, a deputy was called to the 12 Mile Lake turn around at 2017 160th Street to assist a Department of Natural Resources Officer in a stop. Upon arrival, the deputy spoke with the DNR officer, who advised he caught a group of males riding a four-wheeler in a restricted area. He advised that in plain view he saw what appeared to be marijuana on the center armrest in the vehicle that had brought the four-wheeler to the location. Lohoff advised the deputy and officer the marijuana belonged to him and no one else. The deputy collected the marijuana and paraphernalia from the white Ford pickup. The deputy asked the other males who the marijuana belonged to and they said the marijuana belonged to Lohoff. The marijuana was weighed at the Union County Law Enforcement Center and it was under 5 grams.

Lohoff was released on $1,000 bond.
