Valley wins

GREENFIELD — The 10th-ranked Nodaway Valley/West Central Valley/Adair-Casey girls edged Carroll Kuemper Catholic Friday, 3-2.

“This was a good win for the team after coming off a road loss on Tuesday,” Valley coach Michael Krawczyk said. “It was a nice win for the seniors on senior night at NV. Our offense did a great job of crossing the ball all night and our midfield did a better job getting to the ball first. Our defense played well all night.”
