Union County Historical Complex to open for summer season

Union County Historical Complex at McKinley Park will open May 26 and also be open Memorial Day, May 27. Summer hours are 1 to 4:30 p.m. Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. This is free to the public.

The historical complex is set up as a late 1800s community in Iowa. The complex includes the Edaburn Victorian-style house, a print shop, country store, Spaulding Methodist Church, Lincoln No. 5 School; railroad depot, caboose and Elm Street Crossing tower; barber, harness and black smith shops; fire station, two machine sheds (one with horse-drawn vehicles), cabin and museum.
