LENOX — Six Lenox errors made it hard for the Tigers to keep pace with Exira/EHK here on Thursday, as the Spartans won 11-4.

The two teams were locked at 4-4 after five innings, before Exira/EHK struck for seven runs against Mason Peterson in the sixth inning.

Only three of the runs against Peterson were earned.

Caleb Lange went 2-for-4 with a double at the plate for the Tigers, while Peterson also hit a double. Todd Stoaks drove in one run for Lenox.

The Tigers drop to 1-2 for the season.

O-M 15, Villisca 1

ORIENT — Chantz Davidson improved to 2-0 for the young season, earning the win as Orient-Macksburg defeated Villisca 15-1 here on Tuesday.

Davidson, who picked up the win in relief in Orient-Macksburg’s opener, struck out four batters and walked just one. He also recorded two hits at the plate with two RBI.

Jacob Caviness rapped a double and drove in four runs for the Bulldogs. Cameron Walker drove in two runs, while Jordan Thompson, Dylan Nichols, Jackson Mikkelsen, Seth White and Joey Huntington all drove in one run apiece.
