Dianne Brenizer Creston

Dianne Brenizer, 63, of Creston died June 8, 2013, at Creston Nursing and Rehab Center.

Service will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 12, at the Powers Funeral Home, junction of highways 34 and 25, Creston. The Rev. Jim Morris and the Rev. Ken Halbur will officiate. Burial will be at Mount Zion Cemetery, north of Prescott. Open visitation will be 2 to 8 pm Tuesday, June 11, with family receiving friends 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Cheryl Dianne (McCann) Brenizer, daughter of Bernice Elizabeth McCann, was born Aug. 27, 1948, in Creston. She graduated from Creston High Schools in 1968.In 1969, Dianne married Rickie Lee Kromminga. They later divorced.

On June 18, 1988, Dianne married Garry Lynn Brenizer in Creston.

Dianne was a homemaker and lifelong resident of Creston.

Early on, Dianne worked at Murray Products. She went on to work at the Creston Nursing and Rehab for 15 years and as a crossing guard for 15 years. She retired due to health problems.

Survivors include her husband Garry Brenizer of Creston; two sons, Shawn Kromminga of Creston and Jason (wife Margie) Kromminga of Laredo, Texas; daughter Amy (husband Andrew) Rothe of Creston; two step-children; nine grandchildren including Dalton Kromminga (whom Dianne raised), Katie Stevens, Jessica, Alexis, and Kasey Kromminga, Jason Jr., Magen, and Mathew Kromminga and Sara Rothe and sister Jill McCann of Jackson,Tenn.

Dianne was preceded in death by her mother; son Ronnie Joe in infancy; three granddaughters, Emily Joy Kromminga, Kayla Leanne Kromminga and Kelsey Renee Kromminga and sister Carol Suzanne Hughes.
